It says "Metrocolor" at the bottom of the poster- since that was MGM's in-house photo lab, I can only assume they either bankrolled it or St. John rented it from them while producing independently.

Another MGM! They may have been involved; there's no studio logo at the beginning of the movie, so I figured it was independent.
I wasn't awared of Sweet Jesus, Preacherman, but it's on the list now!
If no logo is at the front, than St. John probably just rented the lab.
I remember seeing the poster for "Sweet Jesus" in a book on blaxploitation and thinking "Whaaaatttt?" Men of God usually don't carry heat.
